In this, the year of Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday, we celebrate his genius by performing the iconic Fifth Symphony and a rarely played dramatic battle “spoof,” Wellington’s Victory, the predecessor of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

Opening Notes

6:45-7:15 p.m.
For 30 minutes before each classical Season concert, learn about the lives of the composers and explore their music with Opening Notes, a free pre-concert talk held in a location adjacent to the concert hall.
