The Waco Symphony Council Belles & Brass Program is an educational program designed to introduce young people of Central Texas to cultural and leadership experiences that are not found in any other organization in our community.
The Belles & Brass Program includes:
Support of the Waco Symphony Orchestra
- Belles & Brass participants usher at Waco Symphony Concerts and Pre-Concert Lectures.
- Belles & Brass, as well as their parents, assist with Waco Symphony Council fundraising events.
- Belles & Brass Sponsors must purchase Waco Symphony season tickets at the Sustainer level or above and join the Waco Symphony Council at the Grace Notes ($50) level or above.
Age-Appropriate Cultural Education Seminars
- Music Appreciation
- Entertaining and Social Etiquette
- Leadership Development Skills
Community Service Opportunities
- Volunteer at Waco Symphony Council-sponsored events.
Presentation of Belles & Brass
Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Waco Hall with a Presentation Ball at Ridgewood Country Club following.

Participants in this program attend both public and private schools throughout Central Texas, which offers Waco Symphony Council Belles & Brass the opportunity to meet and work with peers outside of their usual social groups. New friendships are formed, and life-long lessons are learned.
Registration for the program will include the following:
- Completion of the Waco Symphony Council’s Sophomore Belles form to obtain the required information for participation in the program and payment of dues.
- Purchase of Membership in the Waco Symphony Council at the Grace Notes ($50) level or higher and volunteering for a committee.
- Purchase of Waco Symphony Season tickets at the Sustainer level or higher.

Duchess Juliet Elizabeth of the House of Indergard
Juliet Elizabeth Indergard is the daughter of Laura and Mike Indergard. Juliet graduated from Vanguard High school in 2024 and was presented as a Waco Symphony Belle in 2023. She was the 2024 Queen of Festival on the Brazos and currently attends Baylor University where she is majoring in Musical Theater. Juliet is a member of Alpha Phi sorority and a 2025 Waco Hedonia debutante. She studies acting with The Actors House in McKinney and is represented by Duvall Mac Talent in Dallas. Some of her favorite roles include Laurie in Oklahoma! and Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical at the Waco Civic Theatre and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Rapunzel in Into the Woods at MCC. She serves as Co-officer of the Baylor Theater Book Club. Juliet was a member of the National Charity League and has volunteered with many local philanthropies including Caritas, Salvation Army, Keep Waco Beautiful, American Heart Association, Animal Birth Control Clinic, and the Hewitt Public Library.

Royal Escort Gabriel Ruben Lugo
Gabriel Ruben Lugo is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joaquin N. Lugo Jr. Gabe is a Midway High School graduate and a former Waco Symphony Brass. Gabe attends the University of Texas at Austin and is majoring in Biology. He was accepted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society chapter at the University of Texas at Austin. Gabe is in the UT Austin Global Medical Training program and volunteers at the Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin.
