From the Hills of Tuscany to the Heart of Bourbon Country: An Evening of Taste and Storytelling

January 20, 2026

This year’s Savor the Symphony theme, From the Hills of Tuscany to the Heart of Bourbon Country, invites guests to embark on an elegant journey to the heart of Italy. The evening will feature a five-course dining experience thoughtfully crafted by guest culinary artist Billy Garrett of Secret Chef. Each dish is inspired by the recipes of Frances Mayes herself and paired with hand-selected wines. Our distinguished sommelier will guide guests through the inspiration and craftsmanship behind each pairing, creating a true feast for the senses.

Special Guest: Frances Mayes

Adding to the magic of the evening, we are honored to welcome Frances Mayes, the beloved author of the best-selling memoir Under the Tuscan Sun and the inspiration behind the hit film of the same name. Frances’ evocative storytelling captures the romance, warmth, and sensory beauty of Tuscany—the very essence that inspires this year’s celebration. She will share reflections from her books and personal experiences in Tuscany, offering insights that continue to inspire readers around the world.

Together, the flavors, wines, and words of Tuscany promise an unforgettable evening celebrating passion, tradition, and the art of savoring life.
