The Waco Symphony opens the 2026-27 season with a powerful evening of passion, intensity, and extraordinary artistry. Internationally acclaimed pianist Orion Weiss joins Maestro Lawrence Loh and the WSO for Grieg’s Piano Concerto, a work filled with grandeur, lyricism, and emotional depth.

One of the most sought-after pianists of his generation, Weiss has captivated audiences around the world with performances praised for their warmth, virtuosity, and remarkable range of color.

The evening also features Debussy’s impressionistic Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and Rachmaninoff’s lush and expressive Symphony No. 3, creating a dramatic and unforgettable opening to the season.
